CEVAW acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our various nodes stand and whose cultures and customs have nurtured and continue to nurture these lands. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We extend our respects to all Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and other Indigenous peoples around the world.

The artwork used throughout this website was designed by artist Molly Hunt (@mollyhunt4food), a Balanggarra and Yolngu woman from the Kimberley. Molly’s artwork represents the work and ethos of CEVAW to drive co-designed research across the Indo-Pacific region. It is about connections and how these flow in various directions to bring together human, more-than-human and other entities in Australian and the Indo-Pacific region. This artwork also represents the connection of Indigenous and other first peoples to waterways
